Who are they?

Emily

Emily Lamb is a first year residential MEM student in the Global Environmental Change concentration. She completed her undergraduate degree at Brown University in Environmental Science in 2011 and then spent two and half years studying barnacles in Chile with a Fulbright scholarship. While at the Nicholas School, Emily hopes to learn more about the complex relationship between people and the ocean and how ocean and coastal policies and management strategies need to evolve in the face of climate change.

What do they do at DEL?

Graduate assistants provide valuable support to the entire DEL team. One of their main goals for this year is to improve awareness about the DEL program within the greater Nicholas School community. Additionally, they will focus on fostering a stronger relationship between students completing their degrees online and on campus. Assistants will also promote events hosted by the DEL program, contribute to and edit the DEL newsletter, and help faculty and staff with planning and executing courses through the year. ExecEd students: look for the grad assistants at your next class meeting!
